A taste of Kent

Good living starts here: touring ripe vineyards and hop gardens, watching lunch being harvested from orchard and sea. Feeling totally at one with the world after a ravishing dinner in a gourmet restaurant. Savour the authentic tastes of Kent.

It’s an age old way of life in this fertile county, bringing the rich seasonal larder direct from farm gate to plate. Since the time of Henry VIII, Kent has been England’s apple capital. Enjoy it on a luscious orchard trail, or visit one of the many vineyards and cider works. Kent is home to the oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame in Faversham where you can tour the brewery and sample the excellent range of real ales, on offer in many of the pubs and inns scattered throughout the county.

What’s on the menu tonight? Whitstable oysters, melt in the mouth Dover sole, chargrilled lamb cutlets? Tuck in at a country club, gastro pub or restaurant. Kent has something to suit all taste and pockets.
