Active and Outdoors

Prince’s Golf Club, with its extensive function facilities, together with The Lodge at Prince’s, assure each guest’s day will be underpinned with attention to detail, focusing on service and quality whether it be the course, the food or as a place to relax and rest.

Prince’s offers all that is best in modern golf; with its 27 holes of championship Links golf, four ball play throughout the week, extensive practice facilities and a centrally located clubhouse with helpful, attentive staff who understand your needs. All have undoubtedly been a significant influence in the Club’s establishment as one of the leading prestigious golf venues in the south east of England.

Prince’ Golf Club boast three loops of 9 holes; The Shore, The Dunes and The Himalayas, each of which have their own unique characteristics and have seen substantial investment and redevelopment over the past three years, including the mammoth challenge of revetting all 97 bunkers across the facility including the now famous Sarazen Bunker. In May 2018 the Reimagined Himalayas Nine was opened, designed by Martin Ebert who has worked on the golf courses Turnberry & Royal Portrush.

Playing surfaces are in superb condition throughout the summer but most importantly during the winter, when the links course comes in to its own; with a sand base, Prince’s remains open even through the most heavy of downpours.

All of the combinations at Prince’s have been used for major sporting events, with the Shore and Dunes most recently as the Local Final Qualifying Course for The Open Championship.

Why not stay overnight at Prince’s in the 38 bedroom Lodge offering views over Sandwich Bay & Royal St. George’s as well as the Prince’s links.
